Tourists experience Miao New Year in Dehang Miao Village

On December 30, 2022, the eighth day of the 12th month of the lunar calendar, Dehang Miao Village of Jishou City held the “New Year’s Day · Pig Killing Banquet”. Tourists gathered together with Miao boys and girls to experience an authentic Miao New Year, taking part in such activities as killing pigs, making glutinous rice cakes and watching intangible cultural heritage performances. From December 30, 2022 to January 31, 2023, visitors from all over the country can make reservations through the official account “Aizhai Wonders Tourist Area” for free admission to Dehang Grand Canyon Scenic Area.
